The SAD Solutions WAKE UP Light is a Dawn Simulator that can create a simulated sunrise set to last between 15 minutes and 2 hours. A cube-shaped diffuser makes the 300 lux output of the LEDs much more comfortable to the eye while giving the appearance of natural sunlight as well. The purpose of a Dawn Simulator like this SAD Solutions WAKE UP light is so that you can replicate a gentle rising of the sun at times when you would not normally be able to do so, particularly during the winter months or if you work shifts. This can help towards achieving a much more restful sleep. If you also like the aid of natural sounds the SAD Solutions WAKE UP Light Dawn Simulator has four programmable options, or alternatively an alarm or FM stereo option if you prefer. A large LCD screen has been included in the SAD Solutions WAKE UP Light design so that you can easily see the time of day.
*PLEASE NOTE - THIS MODEL COMES WITH UK ADAPTERS ONLY and is a DAWN SIMULATOR ONLY*

I find I wake up a lot easier, especially now in the dark mornings. The light itself is comfortable to wake up to. I recommend this product to anyone who has trouble waking up in the mornings.

I bought the wake up light for my daughter who finds it hard to wake up on a morning. Since using this lamp, she says she feels much more refreshed when she does wake up and loves how the light wakes her up.

This works very well. The birdsong is a little harsher than I expected but there are plenty of other sounds to choose instead. I am finding it very reliable.

Brilliant, I like the sound selection and is much easier to fall to sleep. Waking up is easier too. Very pleased with the lamp.

I Love this light!! It wakes me up so naturally and the light is not too intense, it is a nice orange glow and has different brightness settings so I can use it to read too! In regards to making my SAD better, I have been using it nearly 2 weeks and I have to say I do feel better on a morning and it makes getting out of bed easier, I have also noticed a difference in my partner being able to get up easier too. I like that you can use the radio as an alarm, my only negative, if any, is that when you turn the alarm off the light goes off as well so I have to turn it back on. I would definitely recommend this product and I think it is very reasonably priced.

It is certainly worth the money, it really works. I do early morning and wasn’t sure if it would help me but it helps to wake you up feeling refreshed.

Love this lamp!!!! The wake up sounds are the best. I have the wind blowing option and it wakes me up gently with natural light.

Very pleased with the SAD Dawn Simulator. It arrived quickly and safely packaged to prevent any damage in transit. The instructions seemed complicated at first, but after a few attempts at pressing buttons, I finally got things going. The clock is easy to set up, and the radio has a “search” option so you don’t need to fiddle for ages finding your favourite station. The sunrise light has a warm yellow glow and can be adjusted for brightness from a very gentle background to a quite bright setting. I haven't tried the “sunset” option as yet, but you can also use it as a bedside lamp which is a bonus. As for the alarm, this has many options. You can wake up to the radio, the beep alarm, or four different “natural” sounds which range from bird song, rain falling in a forest with a monkey calling in the background, wind blowing, and a croaking frog ! I have set mine to the wind blowing as well as the gentle sunrise which can be set to gradually light up before the alarm goes off. There are various settings for this from 15 minutes to 2 hours. I find this really helpful in waking up gently rather than with a start as I did on my old alarm clock. I have found that since using the SAD Dawn Simulator I tend to wake just before the alarm as the sunrise simulation is so effective. The only downside to this great little alarm is that I have discovered you can’t use the light and radio together as the light seems to create “static” when switched on and interferes with the radio stations (unless it is unique to the one I have received). Overall though, I have given this 5 stars and would definitely recommend, if like me you find it hard to get up on these dark winter mornings.

Great product. I bought this along with a SAD light and have now been using it for one week. I now wake up to the sound of rain on leaves and a distant monkey in the rainforest every morning. The dawn simulation light allows you to wake up naturally and in a far better mood and than abrupt screaming alarming clock. I would definately recommend this light/alarm clock. The one draw back is that it appear you cannot turn off the lights on the display. My wife is sensitive to light when trying to get to sleep so I have to cover up the display before turning the light of at night.

Super light that is easy to use and does exactly as described. It lets out a lovely graduated light that gently wakes you just like a sunrise. It has definitely helped me and my husband wake much more easily since the dark nights and morning have set in and i would recommend this to anybody.

Nice compact size not particularly elegant. The light is a warm light and very good for filling the room on a dark morning, not harsh light a not room light. The control are a bit clunky and are difficult to use, I don't find it that user friendly. Overall good but not great
